Description
The Safety Officer I is responsible for implementing and monitoring occupational health and safety (OHS) programs and compliance in the workplace. This position supports the safety team in identifying potential hazards, conducting inspections, and promoting a safe working environment in accordance with local laws and company policies.
Requirements
- Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred but not always required).
- Must have completed the 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training for Safety Officer 1, accredited by DOLE.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and local safety laws.
- Good communication and observation skills.
- Fresh graduates may apply; experience in safety work is an advantage.
