The Middleby Philippines Project Manager shall lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. This role oversees the execution of the NPI Process, ensuring that targets for quality, time, and cost are consistently met.

Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership:

· Establish and lead cross-functional project teams for NPIs, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities.

· Foster strong collaboration with the NPI Team to align on project objectives and goals.

· Facilitate cross-functional activities to ensure project targets are met efficiently and effectively.

· Engage with external clients, as needed, to gather insights and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

2. Project Planning and Management:

· Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules that outline key milestones and deliverables.

· Monitor project execution closely to ensure that quality, time, and cost targets are consistently achieved.

3. Process Compliance and Improvement:

· Ensure all projects adhere to the established NPI Process standards and best practices.

· Collaborate with teams to define, refine, and enhance the NPI process for greater efficiency.

4. Engineering Change Facilitation:

· Drive necessary engineering changes to improve product design, performance, and manufacturability.

· Oversee the implementation and acceptance of Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).

· Regularly update and maintain ECR/ECN documentation to track changes and assess their impact on projects.

· Ensure timely submission and processing of ECR forms to the Engineering team for evaluation and approval.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a reputable university

2. Formal training in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile) is an advantage.

3. Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in electromechanical products.

4. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

5. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and departments.

6. Broad understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical industries.

7. Familiarity with Research & Development (R&D) and New Product Development (NPD) processes.

8. Self-managed and results-oriented, with a high level of productivity.

9. Excellent time management skills with a strong sense of urgency.

10. Ability to work well under pressure while remaining flexible.

11. Proficient in Microsoft tools, including MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

12. Strong stakeholder management skills.

13. Willing to work in Laguna Technopark.
