Provides necessary service and strategies to improve the Accounting operations of the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Establishes financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information, and managing accounting staff.
2. Accomplishes accounting objectives by communicating job expectations; plans, monitors, appraises, and reviews job contributions; manages compensation actions; and enforces company policies and procedures.
3. Achieves accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; and implementing change.
4. Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
5. Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; and preparing special reports.
6. Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures.
7. Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy and applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
8. Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.
9. Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations, and recommending new procedures.
10. Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
11. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
12. Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
13. Ensures timely implementation of all Accounting processes within the organization.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance, CPA
preferred
Experience : Experience in working with multiple legal entities under
different legal umbrellas, has experience with financial reporting
requirements
Others : Developing budgets, legal compliance, tracking budget
expenses, accounting, managing processes, attention to detail,
