The Solution Architect (SA) will be responsible for leading and supporting the development of the organization’s Solution Architecture. This includes providing direction for the projects and ensuring the architecture supports the business's needs. The SA will work closely with various teams to ensure that technical solutions are aligned with business goals.

Compliance with Enterprise Architecture:

• Apply and promote the organization’s Enterprise Architecture standards, including principles, patterns, and technology requirements.
• Develop and maintain solution patterns for reuse and standardization across projects.

Project Delivery:

• Understand business goals and define the solution architecture needed to meet those goals.
• Recommend improvements to operational efficiency by analyzing gaps and deficiencies.
• Continuously assess the current solutions and identify areas of technical debt.
• Provide consultancy to project teams to ensure alignment with the overall solution architecture.
• Present the solution architecture for approval from key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other architects, program managers, and delivery leads to ensure that projects align with the enterprise strategy.
• Identify and manage risks and issues related to solution architecture.
• Lead evaluations for software and technology selection.
• Document all solution architecture work using the organization’s standard templates.
• Lead the creation of non-functional requirements for assigned projects.

Capability Building:

• Stay updated on the organization’s platforms, products, and services.
• Keep up with emerging technology trends and their application in business models.
• Share knowledge with the team to enhance overall technical expertise.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience:
• 8+ years of experience in IT software/services definition, development, and management.
• 2-3 years in Solution Architecture, developing overall solution visions for IT-driven business projects.
• Familiarity with agile project delivery methods.
• Experience providing guidance to project teams on opportunities, impacts, and risks.
• Knowledge of the financial services, payments, or insurance industries is a plus.
• Understanding of emerging technologies and their business applications.
