• We are hiring an experienced Safety Officer to ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to Occupational Safety and Health Standards. This involves planning, implementing, and overseeing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing safety training and education. They also investigate accidents and injuries, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future incidents. 

Objectives and Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits, develop safety protocols, and train staff on safety practices.
• You are to conduct workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and risks.
• You are to Evaluate current Safety protocols and measures in place
• Ensure that safety and health standards, as prescribed by the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) and DOLE, are consistently followed.
• Assist in the implementation of safety and health programs, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain records, reports, and documents related to safety and health, such as accident reports and safety committee meeting minutes.
• Conduct or assist in conducting safety orientation and training sessions for new employees or whenever necessary.

• Educational Qualifications: High/Senior High School diploma required, with valid COSH Certificate
• Experience Level: 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Skills and Competencies: Proficient in risk assessment, troubleshooting, and telecommunications. Strong written and verbal communication, along with interpersonal skills.
• Working Conditions: May involve fieldwork in various environments; adherence to safety standards is essential.
• Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, proactive, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety.
