Descrição:
- Sort laundry by color, fabric, and cleaning requirements
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment
- Load and unload laundry items carefully to avoid damage
- Add detergents, bleaches, and other cleaning agents as needed
- Fold, hang, or iron garments and linens as required
- Inspect items for stains or damage before and after cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room
- Keep accurate records of laundry loads, items processed, and inventory
- Handle guest laundry requests and ensure timely return (if in a hospitality setting)
- Adhere to safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times
- Report malfunctioning machines or equipment to maintenance staff
- Assist with inventory and restocking of laundry supplies
Requisito
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping is a plus
- Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and stain removal techniques
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and move for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
