The Technical Support Specialist monitors and maintains the organization’s computer/network systems by applying technical knowledge related to computer hardware or software. Installs and configures computer systems, diagnoses hardware/software faults and solves technical and applications problems, either by phone or in person.

• Provides technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer/POS systems, software, and hardware
• Responds to queries either by phone or in person
• Identifies and escalates situations requiring urgent attention
• Installs, modifies, and repairs computer hardware and software
• Resolves technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems
• Installs computer peripherals for users
• Assesses need for any system reconfiguration (minor or significant) based on request trends and prepares recommendations. 
• Coordinates and/or performs hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any IT related course
• With basic understanding in computer network systems and technical in computer hardware and software
• Must be a Team Player with Strong Analytical and Problem Solving skills.
