Description
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Evaluate vehicle performance and identify potential issues using diagnostic tools.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: No formal education required, but certification in automotive technology is a plus.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in automobile maintenance, test rides, vehicle surveys, and damage assessments.
- Working Conditions: Operate in a garage or workshop environment, primarily on-site with exposure to mechanical equipment.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a passion for automotive technology.
