Job Overview:
We are looking for a candidate with at least
3 years of experience in business development and sales. The ideal candidate will have a balanced approach acting as both a hunter (proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities) and a farmer (nurturing existing client relationships to maximize long-term partnerships). This role requires someone who can drive revenue growth, build strategic relationships, and contribute to business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research (Hunter).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business (Farmer).
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure client needs are met with the company's solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and negotiations to potential clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the technology, trade, or customs sector.
- Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and build lasting client relationships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work independently and drive results.
- Experience in consultative selling and solution-based sales is a plus.
