Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Summary:

The Finance and Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and the implementation of financial controls. They will lead the accounting team, manage budgets, and provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management & Reporting

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop financial reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to support strategic decisions.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and suggest corrective actions.
• Provide variance analysis and financial insights to management.

3. Accounting Operations & Compliance

• Ensure proper recording of financial transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting principles.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and compliance reviews.

4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
• Manage banking relationships and financial transactions, including loans and investments.
• Optimize working capital and recommend improvements in financial management.

5. Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Implement and maintain financial controls to prevent fraud and errors.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

6. Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise and mentor the accounting and finance team.
• Conduct training and performance evaluations to improve team efficiency.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in financial processes.
