Description
- Operate and drive heavy trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Safely transport goods, inspect vehicles, maintain accurate logs, and communicate effectively with dispatch.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections on vehicle.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving activities and hours.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members.
- Load and unload cargo as necessary.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High/Senior High School diploma required.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of driving experience preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in vehicle maintenance, excellent driving skills, valid driver's license, strong interpersonal skills, and a responsible attitude.
- Working Conditions: Varying weather; long hours on the road; may require overnight stays.
- Qualities and Traits: Dependable, detail-oriented, physically fit, and a strong sense of responsibility.
