The Multi-Skilled Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks involving electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and basic civil works to ensure the efficient and safe operation of hotel facilities. The role supports day-to-day maintenance requirements and ensures timely response to service requests across all areas of the property.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of hotel equipment and systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, civil works, etc.)
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to guest rooms, function areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs in coordination with the Engineering Office.
• Assist in overseeing third-party contractors for major repairs or projects.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly used, maintained, and stored.
• Comply with safety protocols, hotel policies, and relevant government regulations (e.g., DOLE, OSH).
• Support energy conservation initiatives and sustainability efforts.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all work areas, including mechanical and utility rooms.

• Graduate of a Technical or Vocational Course (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, HVAC, Building Maintenance, etc.)
• TESDA NC II or higher certification is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Knowledgeable in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and basic wiring diagrams.
• Basic computer literacy is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
