Job Title: Project Manager – Infrastructure Focus (Azure, Networking, Cybersecurity)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Infrastructure Project Manager to join our growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) team. This role is dedicated to leading infrastructure-centric IT projects involving Microsoft Azure deployments, network infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity solution implementations, and on-premises to cloud transitions.

This is not a software development project management position. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in infrastructure delivery, be confident working alongside Azure engineers, network administrators, and security analysts, and be capable of bridging technical execution with clear, business-aligned client communication.

You will manage full project lifecycles, from scoping and resource planning through execution and post-implementation reviews, while ensuring alignment with client requirements, internal standards, and technical best practices.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects such as Azure migrations, VPN/firewall deployments, remote connectivity enhancements, and XDR implementations
• Define project scope, technical requirements, resource plans, and delivery timelines in coordination with engineering teams
• Manage cross-functional dependencies and schedules across hybrid environments (cloud and on-premises)
• Work closely with Azure architects, networking teams, and cybersecurity personnel to ensure accurate technical implementation
• Facilitate technical planning and progress meetings; drive alignment between internal teams, vendors, and clients
• Oversee delivery of projects involving Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, hybrid identity solutions
• Coordinate networking infrastructure rollouts including routers, firewalls, VLANs, and site-to-site VPNs
• Support implementation of cybersecurity platforms such as Barracuda Email Protection and XDR tools
• Conduct pre-implementation architecture validation and manage post-deployment quality assurance
• Use Autotask Project, Syncro, or similar platforms to create tasks, assign responsibilities, and track progress
• Maintain clear and organized infrastructure documentation including configurations, network diagrams, and operational handoffs
• Monitor risks, manage escalations, and ensure all project milestones are met within time and budget constraints
• Communicate project timelines, milestones, and progress in a professional and business-friendly manner to non-technical stakeholders
• Act as the key point of contact for project delivery, managing client expectations in fast-paced MSP environments

• Minimum of five years’ experience in IT project management with a strong focus on infrastructure projects
• Background in Managed Service Providers (MSPs) or system integrator environments
• Demonstrated experience managing Azure-related projects including virtual machines, storage, identity, and networking
• Proven ability to lead networking infrastructure rollouts (e.g., firewalls, routers, VPNs, VLANs)
• Hands-on project management experience with cybersecurity implementations including endpoint protection and XDR solutions
• Familiarity with RMM tools such as Syncro, and strong understanding of project documentation standards in an MSP setting
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Proficient in using project management tools such as Autotask Project or similar
• Capable of managing multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously in a remote setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
• Experience managing projects aligned with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, or SOC2
• Familiarity with ITIL service management practices or Agile delivery frameworks
• Exposure to multi-site infrastructure delivery and hybrid cloud environments
