Responsibilities:

Account Reconciliation:

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of revenue, commission, general ledger accounts, tax-related accounts for multiple entities and divisions.

• Review and verify financial data to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and completely.

• Investigate discrepancies, identify errors, and ensure prompt resolution.

• Support month-end and year-end closure by preparing and reviewing reconciliations.

• Support annual audit.  

Financial Reporting, Tax Compliance 

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards 

• Provide accurate and timely data on financial reconciliations and tax filings for management review.

• Preparation and submission of tax returns in compliance with BIR. Ensure meeting tax payment deadlines.

• Maintain and update tax records and ensure that all tax-related transactions are properly accounted for in the general ledger.

• Assist in tax audits and liaise with tax authorities to resolve any queries or issues.

• Work with external auditors during audits and assist with gathering relevant data for tax and financial reviews.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Ensure proper documentation of all reconciliation and tax-related transactions to maintain transparency and audit trails.

• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure the company is in compliance with all applicable taxation requirements.

• Support the development of tax planning strategies, and ensure that the organization complies with local, state, and international tax laws.

• Maintains lapsing schedule of company fixed assets.

• Extract records and ensure accuracy of entries inputted in the accounting system.

What we're looking for

●       Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Certified Public Accountant or similar certification

          or related disciplines

●       IVD/Diagnostics/Pharmaceutical Industry will be favourable

●      Qualified accountant with 3 + years of relevant working experience as a Management 

         Accountant. Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards.

●      Oversee and follow up on the progress of all pending registrations and generate    

         corresponding monitoring reports

●      Necessary to have demonstrated expertise with accounting software packages, as

well as knowledge of QuickBooks.
