Job Summary

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive smart business decisions. This role enables the company to improve performance, increase efficiency, and support long-term growth by presenting data in a clear and usable format.

The role requires a combination of technical expertise and business acumen. The Business Intelligence Analyst collaborates closely with multiple teams to ensure that data is leveraged effectively to achieve company goals.

This position reports directly to the Training and Quality Manager and works closely with the Head of Service Delivery to ensure alignment with overall company strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a business intelligence strategy that aligns with company objectives.
• Establish data standards, reporting protocols, and quality checks while ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and collaborate with a team of analysts, developers, and data engineers.
• Foster a data-driven culture through cross-department training and collaboration.
• Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Design, maintain, and optimize data storage systems, pipelines, and ETL processes.
• Select and implement BI tools to improve performance, scalability, and usability.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports that convert complex data into actionable insights.
• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Conduct detailed data analyses to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities.
• Support forecasting and predictive modeling to inform strategic planning.
• Oversee BI projects from initiation to completion, balancing urgent needs with long-term goals.
• Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations effectively to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data strategy roles.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and Power BI (or similar BI tools) for dashboards and reporting.
• Experience with ETL processes, data management, and report automation.
• Skilled in KPI development and translating business requirements into actionable insights.
• Solid understanding of computer operations, programming concepts, and domain-specific data environments.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
