• We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Automation Tester to join our Core Banking Modernization Technology Project. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of the new core banking system, with a focus on validating teller functions and financial transaction processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and documenting test cases aligned with business and technical requirements. 

Role and Responsibilities 

Test Case Development & Execution 

• Develop and document System Integration Testing (SIT) test cases based on signed-off Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, and Non-Functional Specifications. 
• Execute SIT test cases and record detailed test results, including defect identification and resolution tracking. 

Collaboration & Communication 

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage. 
• Ensure traceability between test cases and business/technical requirements. 

Test Planning & Reporting 

• Participate in test planning, test data preparation, and environment setup. 
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on test progress, issues, and risks. 

Automation & Continuous Improvement 

• Support regression testing and automation of repetitive test scenarios. 
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools. 

3. Qualifications and Education (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation and system integration testing. 

Skills & Knowledge: 

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. 
• Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting (Selenium). 
• Experience in writing and executing test cases, and documenting test results. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

4. Preferred Skills 

• Background in teller systems, banking applications, or financial transaction processing. 
• Experience in core banking modernization or digital transformation projects. 
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. 
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in the Philippine banking sector. 
• ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications are a plus. 
• Experience with TestNG or Similar Testing Frameworks
