Acts as the Medical Laboratory Manager (First level Manager)
Assigns/allocates duties of laboratory personnel including monthly work schedule
Evaluates performance of all laboratory personnel
Coordinates and conducts education and training programs for laboratory personnel
Provides guidance and serves as an authority on laboratory procedures, DOH protocols, techniques and procedures
Continuously develops and modifies guidelines for quality assurance and ensures that departmental goals and milestones are always met
Manages laboratory resources and ensures adherence to approved budget
Responsible for renewal of Laboratory's License to Operate with DOH including EQAS and NEQAS
Supervises maintenance of laboratory records and reports
Assists in the evaluation of laboratory equipment for purchase
Monitors maintenance and repair of all laboratory equipment
Monitors stocks of reagents, lab supplies and compiles invoices of purchased laboratory reagents and supplies
Regularly review lab results to ensure quality and accuracy prior to releasing of said results

Knowledgeable in processes and procedures in processing of License to Operate of medical laboratories including EQAS/NEQAS
Has leadership and managerial skills
Team player
Proficient in Microsoft Office
