We’re Hiring: US Mortgage Underwriter (WFH)

 Position: US Mortgage Underwriter

 Work Setup: 100% Work From Home | 7am-4pm PST

 Salary: PHP 150,000 per month

 Sign-On Bonus: PHP 150,000

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced US Mortgage Underwriter with a strong background in end-to-end loan underwriting. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and underwriting residential mortgage loan files in compliance with US lending guidelines.

Qualifications

•  At least 2 years of experience as a US Mortgage Underwriter
• Strong knowledge of US mortgage guidelines (FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA)
• Experience underwriting Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans
• Ability to analyze income, credit, assets, liabilities, and collateral
• Familiar with AUS findings (DU / LP)
• Excellent decision-making and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Experience working remotely is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Review and underwrite complete mortgage loan files
• Ensure compliance with investor, agency, and regulatory guidelines
• Analyze borrower creditworthiness and risk
• Issue clear and accurate underwriting conditions
• Collaborate with processing and closing teams to meet turn-around times
• Maintain quality and consistency in underwriting decisions
