The Web Content Editor is responsible for loading, updating, and managing website content across various digital platforms using Content Management Systems (CMS). The role ensures content accuracy, consistency, and timely publication while maintaining brand standards and quality guidelines. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic HTML/CSS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Load, update, and manage website content using CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Magento, Joomla, or similar systems
• Ensure consistency in website formatting, layout, branding, and overall user experience
• Perform quality assurance checks to verify content accuracy, functionality, and adherence to client guidelines
• Apply basic HTML and CSS to format content or troubleshoot minor display issues
• Upload and organize digital assets including images, documents, links, and multimedia content
• Coordinate with content writers, designers, developers, and project managers to support content publishing requirements
• Maintain and update website pages in a timely and accurate manner
• Support implementation of SEO best practices for web content optimization
• Monitor published content for errors, broken links, and formatting inconsistencies
• Adapt to new CMS tools, workflows, and evolving digital technologies as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field preferred
• 1–3 years of experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Magento, Joomla, or similar systems
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS programming
• Experience in website content uploading, editing, and publishing
• Familiarity with content formatting, image uploading, hyperlink integration, and page management
• Strong proofreading and content editing skills
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and web content best practices
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to learn new technologies and CMS platforms
