The store manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, maintaining staff performance, and achieving the restaurant’s financial goals—particularly sales targets. This role involves leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on supervision to drive revenue growth while maintaining food quality, service excellence, and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

Staff Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead front- and back-of-house teams by hiring, training, and motivating staff, ensuring accountability and strong performance.
  • Manage scheduling to balance labor costs and service quality.
  • Conduct regular meetings and training to support continuous improvement.

Customer Service & Experience

  • Ensure guests receive exceptional and timely service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that drives loyalty and repeat business.
  • Handle customer feedback professionally and continuously monitor and coach staff to enhance the overall guest experience.

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Drive consistent achievement of sales targets through strategic menu optimization, promotions, and upselling initiatives.
  • Train staff in selling techniques, analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities, and execute marketing efforts to increase customer traffic and revenue.

Financial & Budget Management

  • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial performance by monitoring P&L, managing expenses, and ensuring accurate cash-handling processes.
  • Use data-driven insights to maintain profitability and support operational decision-making.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

  • Manage purchasing and stock control to maintain appropriate inventory levels, reduce waste, and ensure timely supply.
  • Oversee proper storage practices, conduct audits, and build strong supplier relationships for cost efficiency and smooth operations.

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, labor, and licensing regulations.
  • Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards in line with legal and internal policies.
