Job Description

We are seeking two skilled and customer-focused DevOps Engineers to join our Cloud Platform Engineering DevOps team. This role involves managing cloud infrastructure, supporting CI/CD pipelines, handling identity management, and interacting directly with customers. The ideal candidates will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong technical skills in Terraform, cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), containerization, Kubernetes support, Entra ID/AD, and GitHub Actions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Utilize Terraform to manage infrastructure as code, including tasks like managing team access configurations.
- Manage, optimize, and secure cloud environments in either Azure or AWS.
- Administer and troubleshoot Identity and Access Management (IAM) components using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Active Directory (AD).
- Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, specifically using GitHub Actions.
- Implement and maintain containerized applications using technologies like Docker.
- Provide operational support for Kubernetes environments, including troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
- Engage directly with customers to provide technical support, gather requirements, and ensure solutions meet their needs with a customer-first approach.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure work is highly organized.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to implement and improve cloud solutions and automation.
- Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices, scalability principles, and operational excellence.
- Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation to support critical systems.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

- Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining Terraform modules.
- Proficiency in either Azure or AWS cloud platforms, including core services (compute, storage, networking, IAM).
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and traditional Active Directory (AD) concepts and administration.
- Demonstrable experience building, managing, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines, specifically with GitHub Actions.
- Strong hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments.
- Excellent customer-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality, well-documented work.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues systematically.
- Ability to work effectively during US Eastern Time Zone hours for the initial training period (approx. 1 month).
- Willingness and ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with both Azure and AWS.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS SysOps/DevOps Engineer).
- Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Dynatrace ).
