Job Summary

This position will support the technical implementation of predictive models and analytical tools of the Strategic Analytics team. The position requires strong Java with Spring Boot, Azure, and API experience, as well as user-facing application support experience. The role is for an individual who is open to exploring and implementing new technology in Azure, as the team is dynamic and the technology needs and requirements are fluid and will evolve over time.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop & Maintain: Build and support backend services using Java and cloud technologies.
• API Development: Develop, integrate RESTful APIs , write Junit testcases
• Cloud Services: Work with Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, and Event Hub to build scalable applications.
• DevOps & Automation: Learn and work with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and participate in code reviews and design discussions.

Required Skills

• Experience with Java with Spring Boot development
• Experience with API Development
• Experience with Azure Functions/Docker Container
• Technical Skills: Java, Application Development and Support Experience, API Development, Advanced SQL, Cloud Container / Serverless, Design/Architecture, Github or Equivalent, Dynatrace, Splunk, Azure Insight, Writing Unit Test
• Strong logic and problem-solving skills
• Application support experience
• Experience with SQL / Snowflake (or Data Warehouse equivalent)
• Ability to clearly communicate across multiple teams, and the ability to communicate and escalate major issues when appropriate
