Social Media Marketer VA (Part-Time, Remote)

We’re looking for a Social Media Marketer Virtual Assistant with hands-on experience in social media growth, not just posting or graphic design.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how content drives reach, engagement, and audience growth, and can apply platform-specific strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.

Core Responsibilities

Social Media Marketing & Growth

You will be responsible for executing and improving social media content with a growth-focused mindset, including:

• Understanding how content impacts:
• reach
• engagement
• saves and shares
• follower growth
• Applying platform-specific best practices for:
• LinkedIn (professional services, thought leadership, carousels, feed behavior)
• Instagram (reels, hooks, pacing, discoverability, carousels)
• Facebook (feed and group-appropriate formatting and tone)
• Designing and publishing content that supports:
• brand awareness
• audience growth
• engagement and saves
• Making practical, data-informed suggestions to improve performance
• Understanding basic performance signals such as reach, engagement, saves, and shares

Tasks include:

• Creating Canva-designed posts, carousels, and stories from provided content
• Producing short-form reels using scripts, hooks, or raw video
• Adapting content across platforms to maximize reach and performance
• Maintaining consistency in brand voice, tone, and visuals

Document & Asset Design

• Design high-quality, branded assets such as:
• lead magnets
• guides
• checklists
• PDFs and templates
• Apply brand colors, fonts, and tone consistently
• Support font selection and refinement for brand alignment
• Ensure assets are visually clean, professional, and easy to consume

Email Lists & Funnels (Bonus)

• Assist with building and maintaining email lists
• Support basic funnel setup using provided copy
• Help connect social content to lead capture and nurture pathways

Light Administration

• File and asset organization
• Final formatting and quality checks
• Occasional scheduling or upload support

Required Experience & Skills

Essential

• Proven experience in social media marketing (not just posting or design)
• Strong working knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
• Demonstrated ability to grow or support growth of a brand or account
• Advanced Canva Pro skills
• Experience creating short-form video and reels
• Strong attention to detail and brand consistency
• Excellent written English
• Ability to work independently and take feedback constructively

Brand Alignment

• Comfortable working within an established brand voice and visual identity
• Able to suggest improvements that support growth—not just aesthetics
• Understands the difference between growth-driven engagement and vanity posting

AI Usage Policy

• AI tools may be used to improve efficiency
• Full transparency is required when using AI
• All AI-supported content must be reviewed, refined, and approved before publishing
• No AI-generated content may be posted without disclosure and approval

Trial & Engagement Structure

• A paid trial is required before long-term engagement
• Trial deliverables include:
• One growth-focused social post or carousel
• One reel optimized for reach
• One branded document or lead magnet
• Trial evaluation will focus on:
• Execution quality
• Platform understanding
• Growth mindset
