As a Senior Software Engineer at Redmap, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will work closely with a team of experienced engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will also play a significant role in the product development process, influencing the direction of the product based on your technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance software

solutions using C#, .NET, and AWS.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best

practices and continuous improvement.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring adherence to coding

standards and security guidelines.

• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues across the software stack, including

troubleshooting cloud-based applications and services.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security

guidelines, and best practices.

• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient software

releases.

• Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for

complex data processing tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or

equivalent practical experience).

• 5-7 years of experience in software development, with a solid understanding of

software engineering principles.

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET frameworks, with experience in developing

scalable applications.

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile

methodologies.

• Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, RDS) and cloud

architecture.

• Solid understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and experience with

complex SQL queries and stored procedures.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

• Experience with CI/CD, containerisation (Docker, ECS)
