The School Security Guard is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the school premises, students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The guard ensures that rules and regulations related to school security are followed and responds to emergencies when necessary.

• Monitor and secure all entrances and exits of the school.
• Conduct regular patrols within the school grounds and surrounding areas.
• Enforce school policies related to safety and security.
• Check IDs of students, staff, and visitors; ensure proper sign-in/sign-out protocols.
• Inspect bags and other belongings when necessary.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies.
• Coordinate with school administrators, local police, or emergency services as needed.
• Write detailed incident and security reports.
• Assist in managing crowd control during school events or emergencies.
• Escort students, visitors, or staff when necessary for safety.
• Report safety hazards or suspicious activity immediately.

• At least High School Graduate (Senior High School diploma preferred)
• Additional training or certification in security is an advantage
• Valid Security Guard License issued by PNP-SOSIA
• Strong observation and reporting skills
• Good physical condition and alertness
• Ability to respond effectively to emergencies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Trustworthy, respectful, and able to work under minimal supervision
• Can handle students and parents with professionalism and patience
• Valid Security Training Certificate (Pre-licensing and/or refresher)
• First Aid and Basic Life Support certification (preferred)
• Updated Neuro-Psychiatric Test, Drug Test, and NBI/Police/Barangay Clearance
• Shifting schedule (day/night shift)
• May require standing or walking for long periods
• May be exposed to varying weather conditions while patrolling
