Position: Video Script Writer

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Script Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate can turn ideas into engaging, clear, and compelling scripts tailored for different video formats and platforms.

• Develop concepts and write scripts for various video types (social media content, ads, explainers, educational videos, testimonials, etc.)
• Translate briefs, ideas, or raw information into structured and engaging scripts.
• Research topics to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Write scripts that match the brand’s tone, messaging, and objectives.
• Provide visual direction such as scene descriptions, on-screen text, transitions, and B-roll suggestions.
• Collaborate with the marketing team, content creators, video editors, and designers.
• Revise scripts based on feedback.
• Optimize scripts for different platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
• Ensure all scripts meet deadlines and follow the creative brief.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a script writer, content writer, or similar role.
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
• Excellent command of English - grammar, tone, and flow.
• Ability to write for different video lengths and formats (short-form and long-form).
• Familiarity with social media trends and video content styles.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and strong research skills.
• Experience in marketing, advertising, or content creation.
• Basic understanding of video production and editing.
• Knowledge of SEO or scriptwriting tools.
