Job Summary:

  • The Sales Manager at BYD Philippines will lead the national sales team in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and achieving organizational goals in the electric vehicle (EV) market. This role requires a strategic leader who can develop and execute effective sales strategies, build strong dealership networks, and foster a high-performance sales culture. 
  • Aligned with BYD’s mission to “Cool the Earth by One Degree Celsius,” the Head of Sales will play a critical role in promoting sustainable transportation solutions and positioning BYD as the leading EV brand in the Philippines. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development and Execution  

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve national sales targets and business objectives. 
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies as needed. 

2. Team Leadership and Management  

  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence. 
  • Set clear goals and KPIs for team members and provide regular feedback and coaching. 

3. Dealer Network Expansion and Management  

  • Strengthen and expand the dealership network to enhance BYD’s market presence. 
  • Collaborate with dealers to optimize sales processes, improve performance, and ensure compliance with brand standards. 

4. Customer Relationship Management  

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and fleet customers. 
  • Work with customer service teams to address client concerns and enhance overall customer satisfaction. 

5. Performance Analysis and Reporting  

  • Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare detailed reports, and provide actionable insights to the leadership team. 
  • Use data to drive decision-making and continuously improve sales operations. 

6. Collaboration Across Functions  

  • Partner with marketing, product development, and finance teams to align sales efforts with overall business goals. 
  • Contribute to product launches, promotional activities, and market expansion initiatives. 

7. Sustainability Advocacy Promote BYD’s electric vehicle solutions and advocate for sustainable transportation in the Philippine market. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in the automotive or EV industry. 
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. 
  • Strong understanding of the Philippine automotive market and customer dynamics. 
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. 
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools. 

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:  

  • Experience in the electric vehicle (EV) or renewable energy sectors. 
  • Established network in the automotive or transportation industry. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to market changes and challenges.
