As a Sales Associate, you will represent the Fragrance Factory brand in-store, providing excellent customer service, product knowledge, and driving sales of our perfumery supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a warm, professional manner; understand their needs and guide them to suitable products (e.g., fragrance oils, essential oils, perfume bottling, premixes, etc.).
• Maintain deep product knowledge on all categories: fragrance oils, essential oils, raw materials, perfume bottles, home/hygiene essentials, laboratory glassware.
• Provide demonstrations or explanation (where applicable) of how to use our products (for example: perfume‐making starter kits, EasyBlend formulations) and promote workshops or club membership (Perfumer’s Club) when appropriate.
• Meet and exceed individual and branch sales targets. Support promotions and seasonal campaigns (such as discounts on fragrance oils, bottles, premixes) as posted on the website. fragrancefactory.ph
• Process transactions accurately (POS), maintain correct cash handling, invoicing and receipts, and ensure reconciliation at shift end.
• Maintain store appearance: merchandising displays, shelf restocking, cleaning, organized product placement; ensure all products are properly labelled, priced and readily available.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or replenishment needs to the store manager / inventory team.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints or returns with professionalism; escalate to manager when necessary.
• Participate in training sessions to keep updated on product innovations, fragrances, raw material trends, and formulation basics.
• Uphold brand standards: ensure that the store environment, customer service and product presentation align with Fragrance Factory’s brand image (quality, authenticity, sustainability).

• Occasionally assist in in-store events or workshops (e.g., perfume-making sessions) as required by the Branch Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred (Retail Management / Business / Marketing).
• Previous retail sales experience is an advantage, preferably in fragrance, cosmetics, specialty retail or related fields.
• Strong interest in fragrances, perfumery, oils, and willingness to learn about raw materials and formulation basics.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to engage customers, build rapport, and close sales.
• Good numerical ability and attention to detail (for POS, inventory, pricing).
• Customer-oriented mindset: patient, friendly, service-driven, able to adapt to various customer profiles (including budding entrepreneurs wanting perfumery supplies).
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail business hours.
• Basic computer literacy: POS system, email, MS Office (or retailer software).
• Neat, professional appearance and presentable manners in alignment with brand image.
• Ability to lift and move moderate retail stock (e.g., perfume bottle displays, raw materials) as required.
