The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring guest rooms, hallways, and assigned areas are clean, orderly, and well-maintained. Duties include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, replacing linens and guest amenities, vacuuming floors, and ensuring all rooms meet hotel cleanliness standards. The role also involves reporting maintenance issues, handling guest requests promptly, and following health, hygiene, and safety protocols at all times.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing guest rooms according to hotel standards
• Replenishing towels, linens, and room amenities
• Cleaning bathrooms, floors, and surfaces
• Checking for damages or needed repairs and reporting them
• Maintaining housekeeping carts, tools, and supplies
• Assisting guests politely with requests or inquiries
• Following strict sanitation and safety guidelines

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and sanitation procedures
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Physically fit and able to lift, push, and move housekeeping equipment
• Able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
• Experience in housekeeping or as a Room Attendant is an advantage
• Open to fresh graduates, OJT completers, and first-time job seekers
