Education: requires passing the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination

Work Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience

• Patient Assessment:

Evaluating patients' physical condition, mobility, and pain levels.

• Treatment Planning:

Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve movement, reduce pain, and restore function.

• Therapeutic Exercises:

Guiding patients through exercises to strengthen muscles, increase range of motion, and improve coordination.

• Manual Therapy:

Utilizing hands-on techniques like massage and mobilization to address musculoskeletal issues.

• Equipment Usage:

Assisting patients with the use of assistive devices like walkers or wheelchairs.

• Patient Education:

Educating patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and home exercise programs.

• Documentation:

Maintaining detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.

• Collaboration:

Working with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care.

• Physical Therapy Degree: A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is typically required.

• Licensure: Licensure is necessary to practice physical therapy.

• Clinical Experience: Experience working with patients of various ages and conditions is beneficial.

• Accreditation: Valid PhilHealth Accreditation

• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

• Problem-solving Skills: Ability to assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, and adapt interventions as needed.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and move for extended periods, as well as assist patients with various exercises and treatments.
