A Glimpse into Your New Role

As a Recruitment Support Team Leader, you will lead a team delivering high-quality recruitment operations and administrative support to clients, candidates, and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for end-to-end coordination of job placements, candidate engagement, operational compliance, client account management, and the professional development of your team members.

Your Day Could See You

Operations & Compliance

  • Managing daily recruitment operations including job advertisements, candidate screening, interviews, inductions, and job order fulfillment
  • Overseeing CRM/database updates (e.g., Cobweb) for candidate, client, and job activity tracking
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS, IR, and employment legislation including award interpretation
  • Handling after-hours rostering and operational needs
  • Supporting performance reviews, investigations, and grievance management processes

Client & Candidate Management

  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and consultants through proactive communication
  • Ensuring consistent service delivery and issue resolution aligned with the Trojan Way
  • Supporting internal policies and national support services across payroll, HR, and finance

Sales & Business Development

  • Promoting a sales culture within the team
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in collaboration with the Sales team
  • Supporting marketing plans, tender preparation, lead generation, and relationship building

People Leadership

  • Coaching and mentoring team members, conducting performance reviews, and supporting career development
  • Managing staff onboarding, probation, and training using the Trojan Learning Hub
  • Recognizing team success and managing performance concerns with professionalism

Work Health & Safety

  • Supporting candidate WHS screenings, site inspections, and toolbox talks
  • Conducting or assisting with accident investigations, RTW plans, and WHS documentation

Reporting & Financial Accountability

  • Assisting the Operations Manager with budgeting, cost control, and client rate reviews
  • Managing client invoicing, timesheets, and Cobweb reporting with accuracy
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports and acting as signing authority when required

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Recruitment Consultant or Team Leader role
  • Background in sales, client management, or customer service with KPI/target exposure
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM/database systems
  • Familiarity with HR, IR, and WHS standards and practices
  • Desirable: Experience in the recruitment industry or with AU/NZ clients
