1 JOB OVERVIEW

As a Quality Engineer/Technical Writer in Free Your Time, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and reliability. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will implement and maintain quality systems, processes, and standards to meet client regulatory requirements and customer expectations. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of products and processes, enhancing overall efficiency and customer satisfaction. You should be able to communicate and liaise with colleagues and client/s directly and effectively. Well experience with communication tools such as Zoom, WhatsApp, and Teams, are required for this role.

Ultimately, you should be able to manage deadlines and produce high-quality outcomes with little supervision.

2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct desktop audits for compliance with International Standards • Develop process analysis for company core business processes
• Create quality practice documents and standard operation procedures
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and the clients' industry regulatory body
• Understand and conduct risk assessments
• Assess client compliance against applicable safety and quality standards
• Recommend solutions to compliance findings
• Develop audit reports and maintain an audit log that is updated regularly
• Meticulously document non-conformances and work with stakeholders to provide structured and sustainable solutions
• Utilise and follow the technical writing procedure
• Assist in developing management system documents to ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, 22301, 27001
• Disseminate technical information in easy-to-understand language for a non-technical audience
• Convert complex documentation to easy language for multiple audiences
• Produce high-quality documentation that is appropriate for its intended audience • Oversee and assess existing processes and workflows
• Optimize productivity by creating, implementing, and testing new procedures • Assemble reports to document process status and changes
• Contribute to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

3 QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (graduate degree preferred) • Valid state engineering license
• Previous experience in quality or business process engineering
• Excellent analytical and math skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to persuade others to change existing practices
• Strong attention to detail • Proven ability to identify, assess, and solve problems
• Proficient with computer and information technology • Knowledge of process engineering software systems
• Auditing skills and aptitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• 13th month salary

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cebu City, Cebu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
