Positions in this function are involved in developing and implementing efficient and effective test cases for test execution on new system enhancements. This includes understanding of QA methodology, processes and associated automated testing tools.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops detailed test cases for testing needs.
• Execute test cases/scenarios (Manual and automated)
• Participates in the Daily stand up meeting and other related Scrum Agile ceremonies.
• Develops and manages test cases and test suites to be included in automation.
• Translates highly complex requirements into clear and concise testing scenarios. .
• May direct or lead other QA team members in large scope testing efforts.
• Manually tests enhancements or defects for inclusion into releases
• Participate in production enhancement checkout.
• Participates in scrum backlog grooming
• Collaborates with team to provide estimates on enhancements.
• Identify and mitigate risks/issues related to testing
• Supports offshore QA resources as necessary.
• Drive timely resolution of defects to meet release criteria
• Support Automation efforts.
• Manage testing process/workflow to ensure that timelines and deliverables are met
• Ensure compliance with applicable testing standards and best practices

What skills/attributes are a must have:

• 2 to 3 years Hands on experience with Automation - Selenium / EclipseIS experience with Test Management Tools.
• Has experience with Agile Scrum methodology
• Has experience with supporting test automation
• Experience with Jenkins is a plus
• Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining automation test scripts.
• Experience with Code Management tools or code deployment
• Experience with the Microsoft tool suite
• Has experience with the creation of test cases/scenarios
• Individual has trouble shooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve identified risks/issues.
• Execute test status reports and communicate to appropriate audiences
