About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical IT Business Analyst to join our growing team. The role is vital in bridging business objectives with technical solutions by analyzing requirements, improving insurance processes, and supporting system implementations. You will ensure that insurance product enhancements and system integrations are delivered efficiently and accurately across business units.

Key Responsibilities

● Collaborate with business users to gather, analyze, and document system and product requirements.

● Conduct gap analysis and recommend process or system improvements.

● Support system configuration, integration, testing, and deployment activities.

● Serve as a liaison between IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment across project stages.

● Prepare reports, documentation, and ensure compliance with insurance industry regulations.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

● 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance or financial services industry.

● Strong understanding of insurance processes: policy administration, billing, claims, and underwriting.

● Experience in core insurance system implementation or migration (e.g., Guidewire, Oracle Insurance, LifeAsia).

● Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

● Knowledge of business process modeling, workflow design, and data analytics tools (Power BI, SQL).

● Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile methodologies is an advantage.

● Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or other project documentation tools.
