Supervises operation of surface hull preparation and preservation using a high pressure water blasting.

Monitors preparation for coating by using various techniques, water blast the external and internal of steel hull structure of ships.

Overseas the maintenance and preparation of paints, shop tools, water blasting, paint spray equipment necessary for use in water blasting and painting.

Ensure to properly monitor the mixing of paints to avoid any defects that might cause rejects/re-works.

Ensure the job carried-out blasting and painting are according to International standard specification.

Requirements

• Educational Qualifications: Diploma in a relevant field such as Industrial Coatings or similar.
• Experience Level: 1–3 years in blasting and painting operations.
• Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of blasting and coating processes, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Qualities and Traits: Strong leadership and communication skills, detail-oriented, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Working Conditions: Ability to work in various environments, including outdoor and industrial settings.
