Oversee inventory planning and control within our food processing operations. This role is critical in ensuring that raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods are maintained at optimal levels to meet production and customer demands, while minimizing waste and spoilage. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in inventory management within the food manufacturing industry and a deep understanding of product shelf life, demand variability, and food safety regulations.

·        Develop and implement inventory strategies to support production efficiency and on-time delivery of finished products

·        Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to avoid shortages or overstock

·        Forecast demand based on sales trends, seasonality, and production schedules

·        Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards in all inventory-related processes

·        Work closely with production, procurement, QA, and logistics teams to align inventory plans with operational goals

·        Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP and inventory tracking systems

·        Conduct regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and root cause analysis of variances

·        Minimize product expiration, spoilage, and waste through proper inventory rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and planning

·        Support product launches, promotions, and seasonal planning activities

·        Analyze KPIs such as inventory turnover, fill rate, and stock aging; recommend improvements

·        Prepare inventory reports for management review and decision-making

·        Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Food Technology, Business Administration, or related field

·        Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in inventory planning or supply chain within the food processing or FMCG industry

·        Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FDA, ISO standards)

·        Familiarity with shelf-life planning, product rotation strategies, and cold storage management

·        Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or industry-specific platforms) and MS Excel

·        Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

·        Excellent communication and teamwork skills

·        Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

·        Experience with demand forecasting and inventory optimization tools is a plus
