Qualifications

· At least a High School Graduate.

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a professional driver, ideally in logistics, aviation, or industrial operations.

· Professional Driver’s License with Restriction Codes B & C.

· Preferably with forklift operating experience.

· Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor (lifting, carrying, moving materials).

· Familiarity with basic logistics documentation and packing/shipping procedures is an advantage.

· Strong sense of safety discipline, integrity, and professionalism aligned with Lufthansa’s service standards.

Job Description

1. Packing & Shipping Operations

· Prepare, pack, label, and secure operational materials, documents, and cargo required for Lufthansa’s ground and flight operations at NAIA.

· Ensure all items are packaged following company standards, safety requirements, airport regulations, and international transport guidelines.

· Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all packed and shipped items, ensuring traceability and proper records management.

· Coordinate with operations, logistics, and maintenance teams for incoming and outgoing items that require dispatch.

2. Transport & Driving Duties

· Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, cargo, and operational supplies within NAIA, ensuring timely delivery to designated terminals, warehouses, and ground service locations.

· Drive in accordance with airport traffic rules, Lufthansa safety policies, and Philippine driving regulations.

· Ensure all transported items are secured, protected, and properly loaded/unloaded to avoid damage and ensure integrity.

· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues to the supervisor.

3. Equipment Handling

· Operate a forklift (preferred) for loading, unloading, and repositioning cargo or operational materials.

· Follow proper equipment handling standards to avoid damage and ensure safety of personnel and assets.

4. Compliance, Safety & Training

· Adhere strictly to Lufthansa’s high safety standards, quality procedures, and ground operations protocols.

· Follow airport security guidelines, including access control, restricted area movement, and cargo screening compliance.

· Maintain physical fitness and endurance to handle manual tasks involving lifting, carrying, and loading.

· Successfully complete all required Lufthansa Technical Training Program (LTP) modules for drivers and packing/shipping personnel.

· Participate in refresher courses, safety briefings, and performance evaluations as required.
