JOB SUMMARY

The OT (Operational Technology) Network and Firewall Specialist is responsible for the design, investigation, trouble shooting, and monitoring of network security within OT environments. He/she will be coordinating within the OT Network Team in the resolution/ improvements identified.

This role ensures the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of critical infrastructure systems by focusing on securing network architecture and firewalls in industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA systems, and other OT networks integrated with Noble OT Data Management Platform.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

• 3+ years of experience Enterprise Network Infrastructure routing and switching security, with a focus on OT environments.

• Proven experience with firewalls, network segmentation, and securing OT/ICS networks.

• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCNA or Comptia Network+ for fundamentals.

• Vendor-specific certifications and trainings (e.g., Claroty, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet) are a plus.

• Strong understanding of OT security principles, including network segmentation, secure remote access, and SCADA system security.

• Proficiency with firewall technologies, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

• Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response in OT environments. (e.g. Solarwinds)

• Understands Miscrosoft Azure set-ups.

• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT)

• Knowledgeable Pi System Technology

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.

• Willingness to work in industrial environments, including offshore rigs (as per business need basis).

• Travel may be required to perform job functions (domestic, international, & offshore).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Design secure network architectures for OT environments, ensuring segmentation and isolation of critical systems.

• Collaborate with IT and vendor teams to integrate OT networks following security policies.

• Define and document firewall policies and rules based on security best practices and organizational requirements.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation of OT Network configurations (experience with MS Excel, Word and Visio)

• Collaborate with IT Noble – for the implementation of the solutions and improvements for OT.

• OT Support and Ticket Handling

• Maybe assigned to projects from time to time.
