Location: Mandaue, Cebu City

Salary Range: ₱50,000 – ₱70,000/month

About the Role:

• We’re looking for a Merchandising Manager with proven FMCG experience to lead our merchandising operations across traditional trade and modern retail channels. This role is critical in driving in-store brand presence, visibility, and execution standards—ultimately impacting consumer conversion and sales.
• The ideal candidate is data-driven, execution-focused, and highly familiar with product placement, promotional strategy, trade dynamics, and the FMCG retail environment. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to align merchandising strategies with business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement nationwide merchandising strategies aligned with brand and sales objectives
• Lead, train, and manage a team of merchandisers and third-party field agencies
• Ensure brand visibility, product availability, and planogram compliance across key retail and general trade outlets
• Analyze market data and sales reports to optimize retail execution and promotional ROI
• Collaborate with Sales and Trade Marketing teams to align on promotional calendars and activation strategies
• Conduct regular field visits and trade audits to assess execution and competitor activity
• Drive continuous improvement in merchandising standards, SOPs, and reporting systems
• Manage merchandising budgets and ensure cost-effective deployment of resources

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• At least 5–7 years of experience in FMCG merchandising, including 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role
• Strong background in both general trade and modern trade channels
• Proven experience in managing third-party agencies and field teams
• Solid understanding of trade promotions, planogramming, shopper behavior, and retail operations
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data reporting tools
• Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder communication skills
• Willingness to travel for store checks, audits, and regional fieldwork
