Project-in-Charge involves planning, coordinating, and supervising all site activities to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. The Project-in-Charge will lead the site team, coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, and manage resources effectively to deliver high-quality mechanical installations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

· Supervise and lead day-to-day mechanical installation activities on-site.

· Ensure execution of works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.

· Coordinate site works with other trades and subcontractors to avoid conflicts and delays.

· Prepare and monitor daily work schedules and manpower allocation.

Resource & Materials Management:

· Ensure all materials, tools, and equipment required for the job are available and properly used.

· Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of materials.

· Monitor usage and prevent wastage of materials on-site.

Team Leadership & Supervision:

· Supervise site foremen, skilled workers, and laborers to ensure quality workmanship and safety.

· Provide technical guidance and on-site problem-solving support to the team.

· Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce discipline and site rules.

Quality Control & Safety Compliance:

• Monitor the quality of work and ensure compliance with project standards and client specifications.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate with QA/QC engineers for testing and approval of completed works.

Reporting & Coordination:

· Prepare and submit daily site reports, progress updates, and issue logs.

· Attend coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and main contractors.

· Communicate project issues, delays, and risks to the Project Manager promptly.

Financial Management:

• Prepares and monitors project budgets to ensure alignment with financial constraints and contractual obligations.
• Oversees preparation, submission, and follow-up of billings, progress payments, and collections to ensure timely revenue generation.
• Reviews financial performance against project milestones and forecasts, and recommends cost control measures when necessary.

• Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering course preferably with license.
• At least 4-5 years solid relevant work experience in construction management specifically in fire protection and HVAC with emphasis on chilled water system. Preferably with experience in high rise building construction.
• Well verse in working principle & technical details of HVAC, Fire Protection, Fuel & LPG and Control System.
• Proficient in using Microsoft office tools for documentation and reporting.
• Able to use Autocad software.
• Willing to be assigned any site.
