The Marketing Assistant supports the marketing team in the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns and promotional activities. The role involves assisting with content creation, market research, social media management, and coordination of advertising efforts to drive customer engagement and sales for the retail business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support marketing strategies.
• Create and update content for social media, websites, and other marketing channels.
• Monitor and respond to customer engagement across social media platforms.
• Coordinate with suppliers, agencies, and internal teams for marketing materials and promotional items.
• Track and analyze campaign performance, preparing reports for management review.
• Maintain and organize the marketing database, including customer and sales information.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of promotional materials and ensure timely replenishment.
• Provide administrative support to the marketing department as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Experience in marketing or retail industry is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite is a plus)
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing basics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with keen attention to detail.
