SMC Repairs and Maintenance, Inc. is an Operations, Maintenance, and Management (OMM) subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation. To engage in, manage and carry on the business of repair, maintenance, warehouse management and such other undertakings in connection with the operation, development, improvement, rehabilitation, administration, management, control and/or operation of every kind of manufacturing, milling, commercial or industrial enterprise, business undertaking, or venture.

Job Qualifications

• Must have NC II in Shielded Metal arc Welding (SMAW) OR Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM)
• With at least 1 year experience in plant maintenance
• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, pumps, and basic plumbing
• Ability to use hand and power tools efficiently
• Physically fit and willing to work in a hatchery environment
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance of hatchery equipment and machinery
• Ensure proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Perform welding, carpentry, and other general maintenance tasks as needed
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory
• Follow safety protocols and company regulations to ensure a safe working environment
