Job description:

LOGISTIC ASSOCIATE

Position Overview:

The Inventory Personnel plays a critical role in managing and maintaining the organization’s inventory levels. This position involves tracking inventory, conducting regular audits, and ensuring accurate records are kept supporting efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available for production and sales needs.

- Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.

- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to reconcile actual inventory with system records.

- Identify and report discrepancies in inventory levels and contribute to resolving inventory issues.

- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, stock adjustments, and updates in the inventory management system.

- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to coordinate inventory replenishment and distribution.

- Ensure proper organization and storage of inventory in warehouses or storage areas.

- Assist in implementing inventory control practices to minimize waste and reduce costs.

- Develop and implement procedures for efficient inventory management and tracking.

- Prepare reports on inventory status, turnover, and shortages for management review.


Qualifications:

- A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.

- Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics is preferred.

- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.

- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing inventory issues.
