We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Liaison Officer- Importation & Banking Officer to handle banking and importation transactions for the company. This role is responsible for coordinating with banks, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth processing of Letters of Credit (LC), import documentation, and related financial activities. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, is comfortable handling high-value transactions, and has experience in trade, importation, or financial liaison work.

• Facilitate the opening, amendment, and monitoring of Letters of Credit (LC) with banks 
• Coordinate with customs brokers for importation documentation and clearance 
• Liaise with banks regarding foreign exchange rates, loan interest rates, and other financing terms 
• Monitor and process payments for importation, including 7- to 8-digit transaction amounts 
• Prepare, check, and verify documents related to importation and banking transactions 
• Maintain accurate records of bank dealings, LC transactions, and importation schedules 
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, customs requirements, and company policies 
• Provide timely updates to management regarding transaction status and financial exposure 
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with banks, brokers, and regulatory offices

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
• At least 2–3 years of experience in banking liaison, importation, or international trade
• Familiarity with banking procedures, LCs, and customs requirements
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling large financial transactions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with external partners
• Highly organized, trustworthy, and able to work independently
