Job Summary:

The Legal Officer V studies, prepares, handles, and/or attends hearings of less complex cases referred to external counsels, in the latter’s absence, failure and/or neglect; determines the viability of corporate and closed bank cases prior to outsourcing; supervises and monitors cases referred to external counsels; renders case-related opinions/advice; monitors hearing schedules, attendance thereto and payment of attorney’s fees; prepares/drafts letter/communications; evaluates performance of external counsels; and assists in the coordination of the various legal functions and activities of the Department.
