Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The laborer will perform a variety of physical tasks on construction sites, including site preparation, material handling, equipment operation assistance, and general clean-up. This role is essential to supporting skilled trades and helping projects run smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment on construction sites.
• Prepare construction sites by cleaning, removing debris, and setting up necessary materials.
• Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers) as directed.
• Operate hand and power tools as needed.
• Dig trenches, pour concrete, demolish structures, and perform other manual labor.
• Erect and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding, barricades, etc.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks according to project plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite by following safety procedures and using protective equipment.
• Report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues immediately.

Requirements:

• Physical strength and stamina; ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as required.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not always required).
• Must pass any required background checks or drug screenings.
