Job Title: IT Staff

Department: Information Technology

Reports To: IT Manager / Hotel Operations Manager

Location: 3-Star Hotel in Malate Manila

Employment Type: Full-Time / On-site


Job Summary:

  • IT Staff is responsible for maintaining all IT-related systems and equipment to support hotel operations. This includes ensuring the smooth functioning of the property management system (PMS), internet services, telephone systems, CCTV, and guest technology support. The role also involves providing timely technical assistance to hotel employees and ensuring reliable technology services for guests.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to hotel staff and guests for IT-related issues.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot the hotel’s Property Management System (PMS), POS systems, telephone systems, and guest Wi-Fi networks.
  • Ensure all IT equipment (computers, printers, routers, switches, etc.) is operational and well-maintained.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Perform regular system updates, data backups, and antivirus scans.
  • Install and configure software and hardware as needed.
  • Manage and support the hotel’s CCTV system, key card system, and digital signage.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for technical support or system upgrades.
  • Keep an updated inventory of IT assets and technical documentation.
  • Ensure data privacy and cybersecurity measures are implemented in compliance with hotel policies.
  • Provide after-hours IT support when needed.

Gereklilik

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience in IT support, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment (Optional)
  • Familiarity with hotel systems like PMS, POS, and guest internet portals is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, VoIP, and access control systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules and be on-call when necessary.
