Role description:
- Should have strong leadership and management skills. They should be able to manage a team of designers, oversee tasks delegation, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide team leadership and direction, motivate, and engage team members, and help them develop their skills and knowledge.
Role accountabilities:
- Lead an operational team and manage performance across all activities to achieve business objectives and continuously improve performance.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Graphics Team, ensuring that they have the resources they need to perform their jobs efficiently and effectively, and resolving any conflicts that may arise.
- Effectively liaise and work with other team leaders to ensure alignment between the workstreams and regions and the centre.
- Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team to assure mutual understanding of desired results.
- Ensure that the team members are complying to the company’s rules and regulations and any management changes shall be implemented.
- Develop a strategy the team will use to reach its goal.
- Track and monitor team performance measures and reporting i.e. utilization, quality assurance, client satisfaction
- Manage the flow of day-to-day operations and other daily drivers
- Manages the team by driving projects and tasks to completion through effective prioritization, work planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proactively identifies ways to improve processes and tools.
- Drives/facilitates talent acquisition search to ensure quality and consistent growth of the team.
- Efficient induction and onboarding process working with enabling functions such as HR and IT for a seamless orientation.
- The subject matter expert in graphic design
- Coach and mentor graphic design team members in all aspects of graphic design work, demonstrating the ability to help the team achieve its full potential
- Drive projects and tasks to completion through effective prioritization, work planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Collaborate with other teams, stakeholders, including in-country, GBAs, and other Growth groups such as Global Accounts Management and Global Strategy & Development, and senior leaders within the organization to identify business needs and priorities and ensure that the graphic team's work is aligned with these needs.
- Delegate tasks to team members, making sure that each member is given appropriate responsibilities based on their skills and experience.
- Continuously improve the team's processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure that the team can provide the organization with high-quality, impactful data insights.
- Maintain team members' adherence to the company's rules and regulations and ensure that any management changes are implemented.
- Collaborate with other Commercial Enablement Team Leaders from different functions in Manila to ensure alignment of Global Shared Services Center (GSSC) policy implementation and business support. Team up to effectively strategize and plan to achieve goals as a group.
- Set goals, evaluate performance, and identify areas for improvement while monitoring the team's performance using established Key Performance Indicators such as utilization, timeliness, quality assurance, and client satisfaction.
- Motivate and inspire team members to achieve their goals by providing positive feedback and recognition as needed.
- Facilitate talent acquisition searches to ensure the team's quality and consistent growth.
- Efficient induction and onboarding processes that collaborate with other enabling functions such as HR and IT to ensure a seamless transition.
- Organize weekly team meetings and Graphics subgroup meetings to keep the team up to date on GSSC and other business updates.
- Conduct monthly catch-ups, professional development reviews (PDR), and quarterly grow-perform-succeed (GPS) touchpoint discussions with team members to set performance expectations, identify challenges, provide feedback, and foster better relationships.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience leading a team of at least 10 members
- More than 10 years experience in the relevant field of graphics/multimedia.
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Design, Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media or an equivalent experience in the field
- Proven graphic & multimedia design experience
- Advance knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud applications
- Fundamental apps
- Adobe Photoshop: Advance
- Adobe Illustrator: Advance
- Adobe InDesgin: Advance
- With experience in creating and editing videos
- Adobe Premier Pro: Intermediate to Advance
- Adobe After Effects: Intermediate to Advance
- Adobe Audition and Media Encoder: Fundamentals
- With insight and experience in other creative apps is a plus
- UI/UX knowledge or experience is a plus.
- Possess creative flair, versatility, conceptual ability.
- Demonstrate graphic design skills with a strong portfolio across print and digital assets.
- Up to date and skilled with fundamental Graphic/Multimedia design industry leading software and technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, ideally in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Comprehensive knowledge of performance metrics
