The First Aider is responsible for providing immediate and effective first aid treatment to injured or ill individuals in the workplace. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a timely response to medical emergencies, supporting safety programs, and helping maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide immediate first aid care to injured or ill personnel.
• Assess the condition of the injured and determine the need for further medical
• treatment.
• Maintain and inspect first aid kits and medical supplies regularly.
• Assist in emergency response activities, including evacuation and drills.
• Report all incidents to the Safety Officer or supervisor and assist in completing incident
• reports.
• Keep accurate records of first aid treatment administered.
• Promote health and safety awareness among employees.
• Participate in safety training, drills, and health-related programs.
• Cooperate with health professionals, safety personnel, and emergency responders when
• needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or higher (college education preferred).
• Must have valid First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) training from a recognized provider
• (e.g., Philippine Red Cross, DOH-accredited training center).
• Additional certifications in CPR, AED use, or Occupational First Aid are a strong advantage.
• Physically fit and mentally prepared to respond to emergency situations.
• Previous experience in a first aider or emergency responder role is a plus.
