JOB SUMMARY

The Data Analytics Officer (Operational Analytics) is responsible for gathering the predefined iterative data, analysis and insights, and preparing accurate reports for utilization of Management. They primary objective is to provide a prime data-visualization and templates essential to support and improve the operational areas of the Company. They is also responsible for identifying trends and providing initiatives for continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Update, maintain and prepare the reports on the routine activities needed by the business units which can positively impact their decision making
• Analyze data, keep track of patterns or changes, and identify drivers in developing the most effective business strategies to improve business performance
• Evaluate effectiveness of the company’s operational performance, and prepare analysis, forecasts, insights and summaries for utilization of the management
• Create various reports, models and templates that will assist the business units in maximizing the performance in the operations
• Research and establish various forms of trending data presentation (i.e. charts, graphs, tables, diagram)
• Collect, compile and report data for risk and audit compliance as directed by the direct report and department head

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or any related course
• Has exposure to statistical analysis or optimization analytics
• Has experience in data visualization as well as reports generation and presentation
• Has good verbal and written communication skills
• Has good project management skills
• Has advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint, and Google Sheets
• Previous experience in the gaming or hospitality industry is an advantage
• Possesses the desire to understand a broad range of operations within the casino and hospitality industry
• Has the intellectual curiosity and willingness to quickly learn relevant database applications and software, as well as industry-specific terminology and dynamics
